So the Sydney beauty expo was on last weekend and it’s always a great way to see what’s new in the industry .

Every year I go I loose my shit and buy lots of great bits but also lots of crap I never use. This year I did my research and knew what I wanted.

My first and most exciting purchase was my LightStim led light.
I have wanted this for 6 months and couldn’t leave it behind. This hand held light therapy helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and stimulate collagen production. I work with LEDs every day but it’s so nice to have one for at home use. This comes with a peptide serum (but you can use any anti ageing, clear serum) and place the light on the skin. After three mins it beeps and you move to the next part of the face.
After 6 to 8 weeks you see results so I will keep you posted.

I have been using it the past three nights and once you get used to the brightness of the light it is very soothing and calming. It’s been helping me switch off at the end of the day and relax before bed.

Next up, I purchased a freedom palette from Inglot with two blushes and three eye shadows in green and gold tones. I have used Inglot foundations in the past and have always been delighted with the products

I also got a few more Crown brushes. I bought my first pack a few years ago at the expo and always top up when there. They really are my favourite brushes and last forever! Prices are fantastic too. I got a brush for liner and brows and some individual lashes.

Finally I picked up some cloth face masks and eye masks with hyradting ingredients, vitamin C and collagen. To be honest I doubt they are overly active but they are a great pick me up if you are tired and need a treat for your skin.

Did anyone else go to the Sydney expo this year or have you tried any of the above products?
