It’s finally Spring in Sydney so I will be popping out my bright lippies. Hurrah! This means it’s time to say good bye to a few favourites while the sun starts to appear here but that means it’s Autumn somewhere else and maybe this will give some lip inspo to you all in cooler climates.

A few months ago I purchased this amazing palette from MAC cosmetics.

It is a combination of 6 beautiful plum shades (my absolute favourite)
This is a combination of neutral and rich plum shades and can be mixed to give different effects.

The colours are:

Twig- brownish pink
Captive- pinkish plum
Verve- brown plum
Amorous- cranberry shade
Hang up- deep berry
Cyber- purple

Twig is a popular MAC lipstick that I personally really like to wear on an everyday basis. It has colour but is still neutral.

My next favourite is captive that is more of a pink shade. The final two colours on the list are dark plums that are fantastic for an Autumn look. Even though it is Spring here I would still wear the first four colours but Hang up and Cyber are too dark. They are a great look for a dramatic lip and I wish I had worn these colours more during winter! I am getting married back home in Ireland at Christmas I am pretty certain I will be wearing a shade from this palette on my wedding day.

What makes this palette is that all shades can be used as a cream blusher. The first four shades give a fab flush to the cheeks and it makes this so versatile. I love when products are multifunctional.

Have any if you tried any of the above shades and have you a favourite or alternative I should try?
