It’s

been a while since I did a proper blog! We recently moved back to Ireland which took a few days to recover from and then we were at our best friends wedding, on an island, which was magical (yes it was as cool as it sounds)
Back to reality now and what better way then to go through my June favourites! With packing and travelling, I didn’t test out much this month but I have two beauty’s that won’t hurt your wallet.
PS Liquid Lipstick from Primark (Penny’s)

I’m more of an eye gal and often forget to add some colour to my lips. After travelling home my lips were very dry so I decided to get this as it seemed more hydrating. I have been wearing plum lipsticks in Sydney as it was winter so I opted for a nice pink shade. The colour I got was no 6. I have found this to be better then many high end products I have used in the past. Simply ❤️ it

Pros:

Nice packaging

Excellent colour pay off- no need to layer it up

Doesn’t have a taste but smells yummy

Doesn’t dehydrate lips

A little goes a long way

Gloss finish

Cons:
My only fault with this is that I have noticed a few strands from the application wand falling off. This really hasn’t bothered me for the price of the product and is something that I’m not overly worried about.

Golden Goddess Shimmering Dry Body Oil from Cocoa Brown

image from Cocoa Brown website

I actually purchased this at Christmas but I never ended up using it. I then forgot to pack it when I was leaving and it was waiting for me on my bedside locker when I got back a few weeks ago!

We recently had a family dinner and my sister was literally glowing. She looked so fresh and healthy and sparkly! I asked what she was using and it was Golden Goddess. It looks so beautiful over tanned arms and legs and also just across the collar bone. At my friends recent wedding as bridesmaids, we all wore this for a fresh glow. so so beautiful.

Pros:

Subtle but gives enough shimmer

A little goes a long way so be careful applying

Dries quickly and doesn’t rub off on clothes

A colour that seems to work on all skin types

Cons:

I applied first with my hands and felt it was everywhere. It washes off very easily but if you don’t like a mess you can use a brush or mitt. I am trying to find anegative and if that is all I can say, you know it is a good product.

So these were my favourites for June and products I will repurchase again.

What were yours?
