It has been a while since I did a little review on make up products. When Carter beauty launched I was really excited to pick up a few pieces as you all know I am a big fan of Cocoa brown tan.

I was really interested to see how the quality was as the pricepoint is so reasonable, nothing is over 14.95.

I purchased a mixture of 5 products and it cost me around 30 euro.

Below is each piece and what I have thought so far after using for just over 2 weeks

1- Mini blusher palette in Cupid -7.95

This is one of my favourites. I was in need of a blusher palette and I like to get a new shade to brighten my face coming into winter. The best colour for me in the Cupid palette is Affection, which is almost a red shade. It brings life back to dull face. If like me you prefer peachy tones, this is the one for you. There are 4 blushers in the palette and each one is very wearable and most important, the pigment is strong and lasts the day.

2- Brow out eyebrow pencil in Dark 3.95

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen a post I did on day one of this trying this. My brows have thinned out a lot during pregnancy and this just fills and fluffs them out without that harsh, obvious line. I am obsessed with this eye pencil. I have been using Anastasia Beverley hills dip brow pomade for the past two years and this little pencil will now replace that. I was afraid the tip would be too big for drawing on strokes, or worse still, snap (I purchased lots of mac brow pencils in the past and each one has been dumped as it snaps every single time I use on clients) But this has not happend. It is a little gem and I have added shades to our make up kit at work to replace all other eye pencils.

3- Hold tight perfecting primer 7.95

I am going to be honest here, I haven’t had to use this everyday so I can’t give a true review on the primer. When I have tried, it has been a lovely texture, refines pores and gives a nice finish before putting makeup on. My skin is dry and the texture felt great against it.

4- Free speech lip tint in shade Diana 6.95

I purchased this shade for everyday and really like it, it is very wearable. It is a tint and has a glossy texture so it will not last all day. Pair it over a lipstick for better longevity. My lips have been extremely dry the past few months so glosses and tints have been better for me. If you want lasting power I would recommend trying a lipstick from the collection, but a very nice product

5- Wispie lashes 4.95

My go to lashes are always the Ardell demi wispies so I jumped at the chance to get these. As I am very close to my due date unfortunately I have had no excuse to glam up and pop on them on. I have measured them against my eye and the fluffiness is great, and band seems nice and thin. Maybe I will keep them for the hospital (Jokes!). I will let you know when I try them.

So that is my round up on the products I have tried. I have been extremely happy with the colour payoff, quality and lasting power. The stand out pieces for me are the blusher palettes and the eye pencil. The packaging and design is also beautiful and make the products look a lot more expensive and give a very luxurious feel.

I can’t wait to add a few more pieces from the range.
