To celebrate the arrival of Skinade to JOS and being Kerry’s first stockist, I decided I better give you all some information about this must have product.

If you haven’t heard much about Skinade, that is about to change. This product is blowing up on the Irish market and for good reason.

I have been using this collagen boosting drink for close to 2 months and the results have been fantastic. Firstly, I have noticed my hydration levels have soared. At this time of year I would normally be flaky and dry on both face and body. This has not happened. My skin feels supple, hydrated and very smooth.
To prove this I did a little experiment before I committed to having this in the salon.
If you follow me, you will always hear me taking about The Vitamin B serum from asap skin products. This is my go to serum. If I don’t use this every day my skin is very dry. I stopped using this the day I started taking skinade and I haven’t used it since. This proved to me that my hydration levels stayed up. Skinade has a mixture of Vitamin B complex and keeps the skin looking fresh and hydrated. The skin on my body is also in great condition for this time of year. As much as I mind my face and neck, I sometimes (often!) forget to moisture my body.

This sold it for me and I had also seen the effects on other people who had been using it for over 90 days. They were glowing and credited skinade to this.

Secondly, I have noticed a very slight softening of the lines on my forehead. Let’s be realistic, a drink or cream can’t get rid of lines that are already there but I have noticed they are not as prominent.

So let’s get to the nitty gritty. What does it do?

Skinade is a skin drink with 6 key ingredients that work to promote optimal skin functions.
One of the main ingredients, hydrolysed marine collagen peptide (from fresh water fish), triggers fibroblast proliferation. This simply means that it gets your natural collagen production going which leads to skin thickness and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, very similar to skin needling (the two together would make a fantastic combination)
This ingredient also triggers receptors in the dermis (deeper layer of the skin) responsible for the production of hyaluronic acid. These two factors alone is enough for me to try it but if that’s not enough keep reading.

Other ingredients include Vitamin C in the form of calcium ascorbate. Vitamin C is vital for natural collagen formation. You should be using this topically every day too.

Vitamin B complex promote a clearer and moe radiant skin and the combination of abs also gives a little energy boost.

MSM is a naturally occurring form of organic sulphur that helps with collagen formation too. It improves elasticity and helps reduce skin ageing.

Omeagas 3 and 6 in the form of Flaxseed oil helps balance dry and oily skin and the final ingredient L lysine, is an essential amino acid that is key to rebuilding the collagen matrix.

One thing to note: this is a skin drink that works from the inside out. It is not a substitute for topical skincare. It’s like the gym. You need to be eating well for everything to work right. Skinade is in liquid form meaning that 95% of this is absorbed.

This drink is also fantastic for clients with eczema, psoriasis and acne.

I am pretty picky about the brands I stock at JOS and did a lot of research before getting Skinade. Anyone who visits me for skin treatment will know this.
Please feel free to call if you have any questions about Skinade and don’t forget to head to my Facebook page to enter the competition.

Good luck
