I purchased the Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss by Soap and Glory at a duty free Boots store
on route back from holidays in the New Year. I used to absolutely love this brand and as I got older I stopped buying it because I was not living near a Boots store.
I found out recently that Mecca stock some of the brand here in Sydney so I am sorted for the future. I have been using this for two months and it is amazing!
My lips were chapped and battered from the cold weather in Ireland and I had completely given up wearing lipstick whilst at home. Two days before my wedding I even made a home made scrub of sugar and oil to try and scrub off some of the dry skin! This kinda worked and got me through the day but straight away the dryness was back.
What I love about this product is that it has a cooling sensation on the lips. It tingles and feels calming at the same time. While it claims to plump the lips I did not see a huge difference. However, the texture is good and it stays on. This is a sticky lip gloss so it depends if this is your thing. I have been so used to wearing lipsticks the past year that a sticky gloss was refreshing. I purchased a fairy neutral shade called Pink Apricot to be worn everyday, so I can’t comment on the colour pay off with the brighter shades.
The only fault I have is that not much product comes out on the wand so you have to apply a few times to get enough on the lips.
I am giving this 4/5 and it is worth a try if you are looking for a new gloss. Wear on its own or over a lipstick. I can’t remember what I paid for it in duty free but it looks to be around $20 here.
